VA bans Christmas cards to the troops

It’s way beyond high time, that civil minded Americans (people of all nations) revisit the idea of being politically correct.  My bet is that most people, who believe that always being politically correct, don’t understand how much of their freedom they surrender in doing so?  I believe that there is absolutely nothing wrong with wishing someone a merry Christmas even if you know the person receiving your good tidings does not wish to, (this is simply an expression of goodwill and blessings among humans).  As it would not be wrong for someone of another religious persuasion, to wish someone a happy Hanukkah, happy Ramadan or any religious observances that are celebrated during this season.  Expressing one’s beliefs in a creator or savior is one of the things that separate us from lesser inhabitants of our world.
Political correctness is a cancer upon humanity that strikes on shallow minded, thin skinned humans, but affects the rest of humanity, by killing a human spirit.
So!!!  Political correctness be damned;   God bless you, God bless America, Merry Christmas and any other holiday that you observe this season, that brings you peace, joy and happiness.  May 2014 be the year that we rebel against the stupidity of always being politically correct.
Always being politically correct is someone’s attempt to control the way you think, act and speak and to infringe upon your basic human rights.
